It is not every day that a horror movie icon makes their way into a heavy metal music video, but that was very much the case for Pinhead when the Hell Priest made a cameo in the Motörhead video for “Hellraiser.” Given that the brand new Hellraiser movie is out today, we thought it would be fun to revisit this bad ass music video gem.

For those who may not know, “Hellraiser” was actually a song first written by Ozzy OsbourneZakk Wylde, and the late Lemmy Kilmister, and it appeared on Ozzy’s album No More Tears. It would later be re-recorded by Motörhead and appear on their album March ör Die.

Then funny enough  – for a song called “Hellraiser” – the song also appeared on the Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth soundtrack. For the sake of Motörhead’s “Hellraiser,” actor Dough Bradley was brought in to appear as Pinhead for the music video. You can check out the band’s video featuring Pinhead below!

Do you plan on watching the new Hellraiser movie? If you have yet to see the movie, you can check out its trailer via this link here. Back in August, Doug Bradley shared his thoughts on Jamie Clayton taking on the role of the Hell Priest/Pinhead. Among the comments he made, Bradley said, “It seemed like [a female Pinhead] was coming. It’s an interesting piece of casting.”
