As of recently, a vinyl reissue was announced involving an older Limp Bizkit album, that record being Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water. This reissue, out today, is coming from the folks at Enjoy The Ride Records; however, per band frontman Fred Durst, this reissue is both “fake” and “unofficial.”

Over on the Enjoy The Ride Records Instagram account, pertaining to the post where they speak to their reissue of Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water, Durst commented and wrote to them, “hahah fake ass pressing. good job!!”

Per Durst’s Instagram story, he also shared the following: “Hey @enjoytheriderecords Please stop lying to people about the fake unofficial vinyl pressing from Limp Bizkit because there is no official vinyl pressing for any Limp Bizkit album at this moment but will be coming soon only from Limp Bizkit directly

“Just be honest

“A for effort though”

In a separate post in his Instagram story, Durst wrote, “Maybe @enjoytheriderecords got permission from someone I’m not aware of but no one, not one person, has contacted me about this at all. Who knows these days. Gotta love it.”

You can find screenshots of Fred Durst’s comments below. What do you make of the frontmant’s compliants?

In other news related to Fred Durst, did you know that he has attempted to reach out to Liam Gallagher multiple times, but the Oasis member has been ghosting him for years?

Back in the day, Slipknot blasted Limp Bizkit after they made a crappy comment about Slipknot’s fanbase. And at some point in the future, a new horror movie is coming out and it will star Fred Durst! This movie is titled I Saw The TV Glow, and will also feature alternative-indie rocker Phoebe Bridgers, Justice Smith (Detective Pikachu), Kris Esfandiari (of King Woman), and Bridgette Lundy-Paine (of Snail Mail).
