For some folks, smoking a little bit of weed helps to elevate the metal concert experience. However, someone who is not down with the sticky icky is that of Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson (and apparently band bassist Steve Harris is not fond of weed either).

During one of the band’s shows from last month (which took place in Anaheim, CA), Bruce Dickinson took a moment in-between songs to call out people in the audience who were smoking weed. Apparently, per the individual who uploaded the video footage of this incident to YouTube, there was one particular smoker was also starting fights.

Bruce was not in the mood for the fighting (or for the weed), and decided to go off on the smokers in the crowd. Speaking to this person starting fights and the crowd, Dickinson says the following:

“I don’t know what it is. There’s so many people smoking so much fucking dope down here, I’m amazed you can even see. Poor old Steve. I don’t know if you know, but he absolutely fucking hates marijuana and the smell of it, alright? So when he’s trying to play bass, it fucks him up. It fucks me up. I’m a singer, alright? So duh. I would just ask – tiny bit of respect – if you want to go get completely stoned out of your fucking mind, go out the back and do it. Alright? Otherwise you’re going to end up like this fucking knucklehead here going ‘uhhhh.'”

You can find video footage of this incident below. What do you make of Bruce Dickinson’s complaints and calling out this smoker? Between having to pull a fan off the stage during a live performance and going off on people lighting flairs in the audience during a different show, Dickinson has had a lot of interesting engagements with his audience lately.
