Without a doubt, one of the most kick ass metal festivals of the year is that of the Decibel Metal & Beer Fest. Every year, metalheads pour into Philadelphia to enjoy two days of utter metal bliss; the two-day lineup always involves a great blend of acts from different genres.
As of today, Decibel has announced its initial lineup for next year’s festival (with the exception of one guest that has not been announced yet). While the official set times will not be announced for some time, the initial lineup for the 2023 Decibel Metal & Beer Fest involves The Black Dahlia Murder and Suicidal Tendencies as headliners!
The Black Dahlia Murder recently announced that they will be continuing forward as a band and announced their new vocalist. Suicidal Tendencies is easily one of the most iconic bands in all of thrash, so getting these two acts together to headline the metal festival is perfect!
The rest of the lineup is as follows: Eyehategod, Mizmor, Frozen Soul, All Out War, Undeath, Drowningman, Worm, Fuming Mouth, Phobophilic, Escuela Grind, and Incantaion.
Honestly… this lineup is fucking incredible. Like… amazing band after amazing band after amazing band. We don’t get too many metal festivals here in North America, which is why it is always so awesome to attend the Decibel Metal & Beer Fest. Tickets for this festival go on sale on Friday, October 22 at 10 am ET.
Also keep in mind that the other half of this festival involves beer!
