We all know there are two things that Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine is really good at: 1). Playing guitar, and 2). Complaining. Mustaine has made quite the reputation for himself over the years when it comes to complaining. But that said, the vocalist-guitarist also has a fun side to him.

Recently, you may have seen the story we shared that features Mustaine taking part in the sci-fi TV show Black Scorpion (we included a video where the Megadeth frontman takes part in a fight scene). Today, we have something a little more wholesome to share involving Dave.

Back in the day, during a performance where Megadeth were playing their song “Public Enemy No. 1,” Dave and the band decided to get dressed up in Halloween costumes! The frontman decided to rock a Frankenstein look, and we have to say, it is a real impressive look. His makeup and the headpiece costume are real impressive.

We have included a video below that features this performance. It is a blast to see these artists rock out in Halloween costumes, and we would honestly love to see more of it. Have you ever been to a metal concert around Halloween where the artists decided to wear costumes?

In other news related to Dave, did you know he has secretly been wanting to collaborate with Metallica guitarist-singer James Hetfield? Talking about this desire to work with Hetfield, Mustaine shared the following: “I have been secretly hoping there’d be a day where James [Hetfield] and I can write together again. I think the world really does want us to do that, and I think there is a pretty good possibility of it happening down the line.”

Speaking of James, Dave has also admitted that he feels “dumb” for having punched Hetfield in the past. In another interview, Mustaine spoke to his past anger for Metallica, sharing that, between him, Lars Ulrich, and James, he was the alpha male of the group. Mustaine has also spoken to how he would love for the Big Four to come together and do something to help out younger metal bands.
