We adore the doomy majesty that is BIG|BRAVE. This Avant Garde metal act offer a compelling blend of heavy instrumentation that sounds both ethereal and crushing. Throughout their career, the band have put out a plethora of incredible releases, like that of last year’s collaboration with The Body, Leaving None But Small Birds.

As of today, BIG|BRAVE have not only released a new song, but they have also announced a brand new album! The band’s new album, titled nature morte, will be out next year on February 24th. Per a press release associated with the news of this album: “The album tackles the folly of hope, the consequences of trauma, and often centers on the subjugation of femininity in all its pluralities.”

Speaking to the album, band guitarist/vocalist Robin Wattie shares: “It is violent and terrible. It is crushing and alarming. It is common and basic. It is catastrophic and disheartening.”

Below you will find the track list associated with nature morte, the album cover artwork, and a means to listen to the band’s new song “carvers, farriers and knaves.” You can pre-order nature morte via this link here.
