Pop-metal act BABYMETAL have just announced a brand new record, and it is going to be a concept album! This concept album, titled THE OTHER ONE, will be released on March 24th, 2023.
Per a post made on the BABYMETAL Facebook page, the following description has been provided regarding the band’s upcoming new album, THE OTHER ONE:
“10 parallel worlds that exist beyond time and space, solved the mysteries that were sealed in ‘THE OTHER ONE‘ and revealed while moving forward with the restoration project ‘THE OTHER ONE‘, and the theme of their respective worlds, are now clear!!”
THE OTHER ONE marks the fourth studio album to come from the band. Prior to this record, the band have released the following albums: Babymetal (2014), Metal Resistance (2016), and Metal Galaxy (2019).
Alongside this news of THE OTHER ONE, BABYMETAL have announced two new shows coming up in the near future. Those shows will be taking place on January 28th and 29th at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Chiba, Japan.

BABYMETAL’s core members involve that of Su-metal and Moametal. The band formed in 2010 and started gaining a lot more attention when their song “Gimme Chocolate!!” went viral.
