Recently, both Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne said they would be leaving America and moving back to the U.K. Per the couple, this decision is because they both no longer feel “safe” living in the States. But while that may be the case for them, the couple also intend to use this move to kickstart a new project.
As reported by Classic Rock, there is going to be a new reality TV show featuring Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne! This show will be called Home to Roost, and will feature the daily lives of the Osbourne family. Per a publicity source associated with this upcoming show: “The series will follow the Osbournes as they celebrate one of their most important years yet — with everything from Sharon’s 70th birthday to Kelly’s soon-to-be-born baby, Ozzy’s tour, and of course the big move itself.”
Per Ben Wicks and Colin Barr, Creative Directors at Expectation (the production company overseeing Home to Roost):
“Rejoining the Osbournes as they return to the UK is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Twenty years ago, they shaped television for all of us — now they’re coming home at a different stage in their lives but with the promise of the same laughter, love and tears. We can’t wait to work with them and to share it with BBC One viewers in 2023.”
It has been 20 years since The Osbournes first came out – a reality TV show that explored the daily lives of the Osbourne family. The show featured everyone: Ozzy, Sharon, Jack, and Kelly. The show involved a great deal of comedy (and cursing), so we wonder if Home to Roost will provide the same amount of laughs and intrigue.
