While this interview took place in 2005, Howard Stern recently posted a new clip involving a conversation with that of Mötley Crüe. It was during this chat that a very interesting story was shared – that being that band bassist Nikki Sixx once tried to bang Tommy Lee‘s mom!
At one point during his conversation with the band, Howard Stern says that the band are not only legendary because of their music, but they are also legendary for all their antics. He says that he thought he had heard everything about all they’ve done – that is until be brings up the story involving Sixx trying to bang Tommy’s mom. (The following quotes were transcribed by The Pit).
Howard says that Nikki tried to have sex with Tommy Lee’s mom, to which Sixx says, “What’s wrong with that?”
Band singer Vince Neil then chimes in and goes, “She was a MILF.” At this point it is worth noting, but while most of the band is present for this conversation, Tommy does not appear to be present. Stern then starts to ask the band more questions regarding Tommy’s mom; Sixx shares how old he was when they first met her (and how old she was at that time).
Sixx then talks about scenarios where he and Tommy’s mom were around one another; Stern then asks how Tommy felt about all this, to which Sixx says “He didn’t care.” Sixx then jokingly says, “He calls me dad now.”
A Howard Stern Show co-host then chimes in and says, “The story in the book was that Tommy’s dad found out about it, and he said, ‘Hey man, if you can get it, you can have it.'” Sixx then says that that is true.
