At this year’s Louder Than Life festival, Loudwire spoke to GWAR frontman Blothar The Berserker and asked him about his thoughts regarding Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine. Levine has been appearing in a plethora of headlines among metal websites lately, given his dumb ass comment/belief that “hot chicks don’t listen to metal.”

In providing his opinion on Levine, Blothar provides a hilarious comment:

“I don’t really listen to anything Adam Levine says. He is a good-looking fella… his tattoos look like a Wendy’s tablecloth or something. There’s lots of hot chicks who listen to metal, that’s ridiculous. Of course hot chicks listen to metal. I think he’s a dipshit.”

He is then asked about how the band would “off” Levine (given that the band have comically off’d several celebrities and politicians on stage in the past). However, Blothar gives an answer you may not expect:

“He’s not interesting enough for us to kill. We kill compelling figures like Vladimir Putin or Donald Trump… fun stuff. Joe Biden, pregnant bag ladies… stuff like that.”

You can find the video of Blothar talking about Adam Levine below. In other GWAR related news, the band is currently on the road as part of an epic North American tour! You can find all the dates and locations associated with that tour below. We also conducted a brand new interview with Blothar recently (and among the subjects we talked about, the frontman shared how GWAR would “off” Machine Gun Kelly).
