There and then we will come across a mash-up that really catches us by surprise; just earlier today we heard a performance by YUNGBLUD involving that of Black Sabbath and Kanye West music! Another mash-up we just recently came across involves that of nu metal giants System of a Down and popstar (and queen) Britney Spears.

This video comes from the TikTok account Moonic Productions (who is ran by Otu), who also runs a YouTube channel under the same name. Otu has decided to mash together the two acts in the form of “If System Of A Down wrote ‘Toxic’.”

While the heavy instrumental interpretation of “Toxic” sounds great, what really stands out to us in this performance is how well Otu captures the vocal cadence of System of a Down singer Serj Tankian – it is eerily spot on!

You can check out Otu’s mashup of Britney Spears and System of a Down below.

Pretty awesome mashup, right? Otu has performed other awesome mash-ups in the past; via the link below, you can hear him playing the theme song of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air to the style of Limp Bizkit. Also below, you will find a link to a video that features a death metal choir (that’s right), covering Spears’ song “Toxic.” Their version of the track is pretty damn awesome!

Earlier this month, ex-Dillinger Escape Plan frontman Greg Puciato talked about how badly the band were boo’d while touring with System of a Down. Among the comments he made, he shared, “But we were getting booed so badly that we couldn’t even hear our monitors, and that gave us this idea that everyone hated us, and we just used it as fuel.”
