There are all types of themes that are perfect for a kid’s birthday party – Pokémon, superheroes, Godzilla, and yes, even deathcore music. At least when it comes to the latter, that is the perfect theme for six year old Greyson.
Greyson is a big fan of the deathcore act Ov Sulfur (who were recently out on tour with As I Lay Dying and Whitechapel), and for his recent birthday party, he requested to have an Ov Sulfur themed bash! The band caught wind of the party and were super honored that Greyson would shout them out in such a cool way.
Over on the Ov Sulfur Instagram account, the band shared a few photos of Greyson’s birthday party; among those photos, you will see how Greyson’s cake actually features a promo photo of Ov Sulfur! Along with those photos, the band wrote the following caption:
“Everyone wish Greyson a happy birthday😤🥳A couple months ago one of our littlest biggest fans turned 6(66) and had an OV SULFUR THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY to celebrate! How cool is that?! 🤘🤘 Check out this wild cake, wicked cookies and hell of a party. And wish Greyson a happy belated—or else”
Happy belated birthday Greyson! Hope you had an awesome one and keep on rocking! For the rest of you, if you could have a themed birthday based on one band, who would it be?
In other news related to Ov Sulfur, the band will be hitting the road next month with Lorna Shore! They will be playing as support alongside Aborted, Ingested, and Angelmaker. You can find all the dates and locations associated with that North American tour below.
