The upcoming Weird Al movie now has a new official trailer! The film, titled Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, features Daniel Radcliffe (who is most famously known for his role as Harry Potter in the Harry Potter movies) playing Weird Al himself.
Per a synopsis associated with the new movie trailer: “Rebellious and unconventional, singer ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic becomes famous for changing the words to world-renowned songs. However, his excessive lifestyle and infamous romance nearly destroy him.”
Alongside Radcliffe, the movie features Evan Rachel Wood (who is playing Madonna), as well as that of Rainn Wilson and Weird Al (the latter who is playing a record executive).
In the official trailer that you will find below, you can experience a small taste of the hilarious moments and acting this movie has to offer. Just from this trailer alone, we think Daniel Radcliffe was the perfect choice to play Weird Al.
