It was a Halloween night in 1979 when Kiss appeared on the Tomorrow Show and Ace Frehley was quite tipsey. Video footage of this particular Kiss interview can be found below, so you can see for yourself how rowdy Ace gets.

This video was originally shared by Classic Rock, who pointed out the following quote from Ace Frehley:

“I was nervous as hell about going on network TV, live in front of millions of people, so I started pounding some Stoli in the back of my limo as soon as I passed through my gates on the way to the city.”

Throughout the band’s interview, Ace continues to talk over others and interrupts them. At times it can be very comical to witness this, but we wonder what Gene Simmons and the others were thinking during this conversation. You can check out the full band interview, including Ace’s disruptions, via the video below.

In other Kiss related news, back a couple months ago, Simmons spoke to why Ace and and Peter Criss couldn’t be part of the Kiss farewell tour. If you are interested in seeing the band on the North American run of their farewell tour, you can find their upcoming dates and locations below.
