Pantera have posted a cryptic visual teaser online via their social media channels. We assume this could have to do with the upcoming 2023 Pantera shows, but we will know more in time!
The visual teaser, which you will find below, is brief; it is obviously meant to drum up hype for something. No caption was provided alongside the video. Perhaps we will be getting some tour/festival dates pertaining to the band’s 2023 concerts soon. How excited are you for these upcoming Pantera shows?
In other news related to the 2023 Pantera shows, Anthrax bassist Frank Bello recently talked about Anthrax’s Charlie Benante sitting in as the drummer for the band. Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory has shared his feelings regarding these shows, saying in part, “Look at it this way: this is an homage. This is paying respect to that music. This is paying respect to the band that was very influential for many, many people.”
Via an interview with The Pit, band singer Phil Anselmo shared that, “I think Dime and Vince, I know Dime and Vince would want the legacy and the name of Pantera to go on and on and on and in everybody’s damn face. I know that for sure. Absa-fucking-utely dude, that would be their biggest dream.”
Back in July, Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante talked about their involvement regarding the 2023 Pantera concerts. Back in 2018, ex-Lamb Of God drummer Chris Adler actually spoke to the late Vinnie Paul regarding the idea of a band reunion, and in part said, “Please don’t. It’s not right.”
