So granted, this could be the band just fucking with us, but Avenged Sevenfold frontman M. Shadows has uploaded a video that features band guitarist Synyster Gates beatboxing, and we have to wonder – could this be hinting at something on the new A7X record?

Alongside the upload of this video, Shadows wrote in his tweet: “To troll or not to troll? . Guess we’ll find out”

So while there is a chance he and the band are just messing with us, there is technically a possibility that the band may in fact have some beatboxing on the new Avenged Sevenfold album. You can watch that video of Synyster Gates beatboxing below:

This past February, Shadows shared that the upcoming new Avenged Sevenfold album was “90% done.” In a past Instagram post of his, band drummer Brooks Wackerman also shared news of the orchestral work, sharing a photo on Instagram that includes the following caption:

“Well… this Happened on Tuesday. We-Avenged Sevenfold- started writing this record 4 years ago and I can’t believe we are 90% done…One of the perks-in the creative process- is that we are able to track a 78 piece orchestra on our records. The fact that we are able to bring incredible musicians together to enhance our art still gives me chills.. I can’t wait for the the world to hear this.. all I can say it’s unlike Anything we’ve ever released.. ALRIGHT and good night!”

In other A7X related news, Shadows recently spoke to his enjoyment of punk music (while also mentioning some past elitism of his); the singer also spoke to what he feels is to blame for the “downfall” of metal. M. Shadows also commented on the upcoming 2023 Pantera shows. Links to all these stories can be found below.
