Welp, here we go yet again, motherfuckers! Just a few weeks back, the almighty Slipknot announced their highly anticipated 7th studio album called The End, So Far. And in doing so, they gifted us with what was technically the 2nd single from the album called ‘The Dying Song (Time To Sing)’. We say 2nd because, technically, 2021’s ‘The Chapeltown Rag’ will also be on the album.
Now, we have the sonic pleasure of hearing the 4th track on The End, So Far which is called called simply, ‘Yen.’ ‘Yen’ stands in stark contrast to ‘The Dying Song (Time To Sing)’ – it’s moodier, slower, groovier and more experimental. It even features a solo from Sid.
