The Korn album Follow The Leader came out 24 years ago today, and to celebrate that anniversary, we thought we would share a pretty “interesting” cover of Korn’s “Freak on a Leash.”

Throughout the years, folks have found a plethora of ways to cover music; they may play songs in different styles, use unique instruments, or ever random household objects. However, there is an individual who goes by “Gun Drummer” on YouTube who performs drum covers of songs using guns. That is certainly a unique manner in which to cover a song.

Gun Drummer will pick a song to cover and then will cover the drum portion of that song by shooting off guns; his goal is for each shot to reflect the rhythm of the drum playing (as heard in the original song). While Gun Drummer has covered everyone from Metallica to Lamb Of God, and Pantera, he has also covered Korn.

Below we have included a video that features Gun Drummer performing a cover of “Freak on a Leash” and where he is shooting off two guns to capture the drum flow of the song. What are your thoughts on this cover?
