It is always a good time to be a horror movie fan, especially when you hear that a new Saw movie is coming out! Saw made its debut back in 2004 and has become one of the most dominating franchises in all of horror.
As reported by Bloody Disgusting, Kevin Greutert will be directing this new film, which will be arriving October 27th, 2023. Just in time for next year’s Halloween! This new entry in the film series makes for the tenth Saw film. Per franchise producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules:
“We have been listening to what the fans have been asking for and are hard at work planning a movie that Saw aficionados and horror fans alike will love. And part of that is giving the reins to Kevin Greutert, director of Saw VI, which is still one of the fans’ favorites in the entire series. More details will be revealed soon.”
How excited are you for a new Saw movie? The last film to come from the franchise is that of 2021’s Spiral. In other horror movie related news, the upcoming new Hellraiser movie just received its rating; we are incredibly excited for this new Hellraiser!
Also horror related, the new Predator movie (Prey) is absolutely amazing! We recently shared a video where someone added metal music to the film’s trailer. We will also be getting a new Crow movie at some point! It has been confirmed that the lead for this new Crow movie is none other than Bill Skarsgård. If that name rings any bells, it might be because you’ve heard his name in a pretty popular horror movie called IT.
