UPDATE:
Confirmed: Charlie Benante + Zakk Wylde To Take Part In Pantera Reunion Tour
Earlier this year, the band celebrated the 30th anniversary of their sixth studio album, Vulgar Display of Power. To celebrate this landmark achievement of heavy metal, we conducted a series of interviews with none other than Pantera singer Phil Anselmo. Accompanying each of these interviews were special HD remastered music videos; said HD music videos are that of “This Love,” “Mouth For War,” and “Walk.”
Pantera formed in 1981, and while Terry Glaze would be the band’s first vocalist, the line-up that the band would be best known for consists of: Phil Anselmo (vocals), Dimebag Darrell (guitar), Rex Brown (bass), and Vinnie Paul (drums). Dimebag Darrell died on December 8th, 2004, and his brother Vinnie Paul passed away on June 22nd, 2018. At the time of this writing, the band have released nine studio albums; the following are the albums the band has released:
Metal Magic (1983), Projects in the Jungle (1984), I Am the Night (1985), Power Metal (1988), Cowboys from Hell (1990), Vulgar Display of Power (1992), Far Beyond Driven (1994), The Great Southern Trendkill (1996) and Reinventing the Steel (2000).
Pantera is considered by many one of the greatest metal bands to ever be.
