During a high school karaoke event, one teenager decided to cover the Korn song “Twist,” and let’s just say you are not prepared for how intensely this kid scats. If you have been listening to the band long enough, then you are aware of how band singer Jonathan Davis will sometimes scat during a song. Well this high schooler took it to to the next level.
The video you will find below features a high schooler named Chris performing karaoke to “Twist.” From the second the video starts off, you can hear Chris’ dedicated scatting performance.
It doesn’t take long for the school principal to say that he is being too loud; while Chris does apologize and takes a step back from the microphone, he projects his voice more so the whole room can hear his scatting.
It is an incredibly goofy moment and reminds us of some of the funnier moments we had back in high school. You can find that video of Chris covering the “scatting portion” of “Twist” below.
