As reported by Blabbermouth, this past Sunday morning (July 3rd), the wife of Sepultura guitarist Andreas Kisser, Patricia Perissinoto Kisser, passed away. Patricia struggled with colon cancer and had just turned 52 years old one day prior to her passing. Via a social media post from the Sepultura account, the following statement was shared (screenshot can be found via Blabbermouth):
“It is with deep sadness that we have to share that Patricia Perissinoto Kisser passed away this morning. She will remain in are memories forever. We want to thank all our friends and family for all the support and messages of love. We ask for privacy during this difficult time. Andreas Kisser, Giulia, Yohan e Enzo.”

It was reported last week that the Sepultura guitarist had to exit from the band’s current European tour regarding a family emergency; Jean Patton of Project46 stepped in for Kisser.
