For those who don’t know, Dead Cross is a heavy music supergroup, featuring the likes of Mike Patton (Faith No More), Dave Lombardo (Slayer, Testament), Michael Crain (Retox, Kill the Capulets), and Justin Pearson (The Locust, Retox).
This supergroup is an incredible blend of hardcore punk and metal, and at the time of this writing, the band have released one record and one EP. However, it looks like the supergroup are preparing to release even more music. Via the Ipecac Recordings Twitter account, a brief snippet of new Dead Cross music has been shared. You can check out that snippet below:

This teaser mentions the date July 19th, which means more will be revealed come next Tuesday. If this snippet has you excited – and you haven’t heard the music of Dead Cross before – we have included other tracks of theirs for you to check out as well. With it being roughly five years since we have gotten a new record from this band, we are hoping they will announce a new album as well.
Speaking of Mike Patton, we recently interviewed members of Faith No More to celebrate three separate album anniversaries! Introduce Yourself, Angel Dust, and Album of the Year all have major anniversaries as of 2022; to celebrate these albums, we reached out to multiple members of Faith No More to learn about each record. We spoke with drummer Mike Bordin, keyboardist Roddy Bottum, and bassist Billy Gould. Each member spoke to the legacy of these albums, as well as other memories associated with the creation of each record.
Earlier this year, Dave Lombardo joined Testament as their drummer! Back in June, a pretty comical story came about regarding Lombardo joining the band; to learn more about this story, follow the link below.
