On a recent episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, actor Ethan Hawke (Moon Knight, Training Day, Boyhood), shared that he is a fan of the album cover artwork for Lamb Of God‘s Omens. While this may seem super random at first, there is actually a pretty obvious reason why Lamb Of God would be mentioned on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

That’s because Lamb Of God drummer, Art Cruz, is actually sitting in as part of the band on Myers’ show! He has been the guest drummer on the show (with tonight being his last night).

So how does the album cover artwork for Omens come up specifically? The clip you will find below features Myers introducing Ethan Hawke to the audience; Hawke comes out, the two celebrities greet each other, and then Hawke goes, “By the way,” and points to something behind Myers’ desk. Ethan Hawke says:

“That album cover looks insanely cool – Lamb Of God – Does it not remind you a little bit of Khonshu [a character] from Moon Knight? I don’t know if you saw Moon Knight – its got a little Khonshu vibe to it.”

Myers says he has seen Moon Knight, and then goes on to share, “We always want to also promote your work when we promote the guest drummer.” That comment is obviously alluding to Cruz, with the camera eventually shifting over to the Lamb Of God drummer.

This conversation makes for an incredibly wholesome and awesome moment, which you can check out for yourself below.
