During a recent Slipknot show in Cincinatti, OH, the band cut their performance mid-song to help out an injured fan in need.
At one point, while the band are performing their song “Unsainted,” Jim Root comes up alongside Corey Taylor and looks to get his attention. Root then points to the crowd.
As the band halt their performance, Taylor tells the crowd, “Hold on. Hold on guys, hold on. Guys we got something going on right there.”
Taylor then continues with, “Can we get EMTs in there? Everybody back up, give some room. Give some room, make sure they can get in.”
In Corey Taylor fashion, he asks the crowd to hold on and wait for the EMTs to safely exit with the injured fan.
As it sounds like the crowd is shouting out Corey, Taylor responds to the audience with, “I was in it, man; give it up for the band. They’re the ones who fuckin’ saw it.”
