Writer and director Todd Philips has recently shared a photo teasing a sequel to his 2019 movie Joker.
The 2019 Joker movie is based on the iconic Batman comic book villain; but while the film is set in Gotham City and, at multiple, highlights the Wayne family, the film is not your typical action-comic book movie. It is a much more drama heavy picture.
Philips’ Joker did incredibly well – both with fans and critics. Upon making its premier at the 76th Venice International Film Festival, the film won the festival’s Golden Lion award.
Now some three-ish years after that movie’s release, Todd Philips has shared a photo that teases a sequel to the Joker movie.
This photo involves the cover of what looks to be the script for that second movie, featuring the title:
Joker: Folie à Deux

Per Google, “Folie à Deux” is defined as, “delusion or mental illness shared by two people in close association.”
At the time of this writing, there is no clear idea as to what the plot of this movie might involve, when Philips would even start shooting this movie, or when it might even come out. But of course, when we get more news down the road, we will be sharing it with you all.
Did you like the 2019 Joker movie? Would you watch a sequel?
