At a recent show, singer Corey Taylor told the audience that they can expect to hear new Slipknot music very soon.

During their performance in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Slipknot singer made it clear that we won’t have to wait too long for the band’s upcoming new album.

Per his words, this is what Taylor had to say.

“Now, we don’t have an exact date on it, but I’m here to tell you, you’re not gonna be waiting very, very fucking long. Goddamnit, I promise you, you will have new fucking Slipknot music very fucking soon.”

The most recent studio album to come from the band is their 2019 release We Are Not Your Kind.

This new Slipknot album is seriously one of our most anticipated releases of the year! Apparently, the new record will include sound samples from outer space! Band drummer Jay Weinberg has also spoken to this album having “the heaviest blues song on earth.”
