Popstar Billie Eilish has been known to rep metal bands via the attire she wears on stage; during past shows of hers, she has worn clothing that features the likes of horror-rocker Rob Zombie, Type O Negative, and Cradle of Filth.

During a recent performance, Billie Eilish wore another piece of special clothing, with this one featuring a plethora of underground metal and punk bands. Among the acts represented on her shirt is that of underground death-thrash act Ghoul (who took to social media to shout out Eilish for shouting out their band via this shirt). Apparently, per one of Ghoul’s Instagram posts, Eilish has worn clothing displaying the Ghoul name in the past.

You will also see other noticeable acts mentioned on her shirt, such as that of Motörhead and The Misfits. You can find the Instagram posts from Ghoul below.

What do you make of the popstar shouting out metal and punk bands via her attire? Rob Zombie has voiced his support of Eilish in the past.

Back in the day, we wrote up a feature that explores the 10 most metal Billie Eilish songs. Below we have included an excerpt from our number ten song, but if you want to check out the entire feature, follow the link below.

10. “xanny” (WHEN WE FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?, 2019)

Overdriven bass is so much of what makes Billie Eilish’s music kind of sinister and dark. That coupled with the obvious drug reference of “xanny” feels inherently menacing. Sure, the song doesn’t seem to be about drugs, but it definitely feels like being on drugs; the track’s shifts from dulcet to depressive make one imagine that panicked moment when they try to leave their own trip ,but can’t quite stand up. Take as needed for pain.
