It isn’t everyday that you find artists from two different genres collaborating together, which is why it is neat to see that of country singer Carrie Underwood performing with that of Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose.
Just this past Saturday, while Carrie Underwood was performing at the Stagecoach country music festival, she was joined onstage by none other than Axl Rose. Just prior to Axl Rose entering the stage, Wood said to the crowd, “Welcome to the greatest night of my life — give it up for Axl Rose!”
Wood and Rose performed a duet involving the Guns N’ Roses songs “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Paradise City.” Both songs are tracks from the band’s debut studio album, Appetite for Destruction.
What is additionally cool about this collaboration is the fact that Carrie Underwood is actually a hardcore fan of the band. Prior to the performance involving her and Axl Rose, she has covered a plethora of the band’s songs and has openly spoken about her fandom of the band.
