New My Chemical Romance Song- Band Surprise Drops First Song in 8 Years

The dark lords of emo, My Chemical Romance, just pulled a “gotcha!” on the world and dropped the first new My Chemical Romance song since 2014.

Titled Foundations of Decay, it’s a 6 minute heater. Are MCR a metal band? Nah. Do we still dig ’em? Yah.

Frontman Gerard Way and crew have shown a lot of support for the underground aggressive music community as of late, from choosing to take out some sick bands on their massive comeback tour, to Way contributing some actually impressive black metal vocals to Matt from Trivium’s recent black metal solo project:
