During a recent live show, Megadeth singer Dave Mustaine went off on a security guard who was acting a little too aggressively with the audience.

This incident took place on May 6th at a show in Nashville, Tennessee. The Megadeth singer caught wind of a security guard who was apparently going up on the barricade and going off at people in the crowd. This really got to Mustaine, and prior to the band performing their song “She-Wolf,” the Megadeth singer took to his microphone and decided to share a few words with said security guard.

Per the video footage below, Mustaine said the following:

“Hey, mister security dude. You there. Stop interfering with our show. Okay? You don’t need to go up on the fucking barricade and point at people. Everybody’s having fun. Cool it or I’ll ask you to be taken out of the pit. Do you understand me? Do we have a fucking understanding here? Don’t do it again.”

In another video you will find below, Mustaine ends up taking a breather and stepping away from the microphone after speaking to the security guard; he then returns and says the following to the audience:

“I’m sorry, you guys. It’s just I don’t want your show to be fucked with by a bunch of fucking people that don’t know why they’re here.”

Good on Mustaine to look out for his fans while they are trying to have a good time. Securities job is to make sure that everyone is safe while enjoying themselves at a concert – not to get in people’s faces and antagonize.
