Try and picture what a Limp Bizkit song might sound like if it were performed to the tune of the Misfits. Replace the nu metal instrumentation with some harsh sounding punk – replace the vocals of Limp Bizkit singer Fred Durst with that of Misifts singer Glenn Danzig.
Can you imagine that? Well if you are having some difficulty picturing what that might sound like – we got you covered.
The YouTube channel known as Limp Mizfit took it upon themselves to provide a musical mashup that may catch a lot of folks by surprise. In a video titled “LIMP MIZFIT – ALL HELL BREAKS STUFF,” some artists mashed up that of the Limp Bizkit song “Break Stuff” and the Misfits song “All Hell Breaks Loose.”
The description associated with the video says, “Performed by Glenn Durstzig and Wes Wolfgang von Borlandstein.”
The song features fast and harsh sounding punk instrumentation, along with a vocal style that sounds similar to that of Misfits singer Glenn Danzig; however, rather than the singer sing the words to the Misfits song “All Hell Breaks Loose,” they are actually singing the lyrics to the Limp Bizkit song “Break Stuff.”
This is a musical fusion we didn’t know we needed until just now, and you check it out for yourself below:
Isn’t that some surreal shit? Absolutely incredible. We’d be down to hear more musical blends involving that of Limp Bizkit and the Misifts.
