While Lamb of God will be partaking in tonight’s run of the 2022 Metal Tour Of The Year, Randy Blythe is still unable to partake. Earlier this week, news came out that Blythe tested positive for COVID; since then, he has isolated himself from the band, with the band working with other vocalists to perform alongside them. The one exception to this is yesterday’s show, where the band were not able to perform at all.

During the Grand Rapids, MI stop on the Metal Tour Of The Year, Lamb of God played alongside three other metal singers: Mark Hunter of Chimaira, Trivium singer Matt Heafy, and In Flames singer Anders Fridén.

For tonight’s show, while Randy still cannot participate, Lamb of God have announced they are bringing on one hell of a vocalist to perform with them tonight.

Via an update from the Lamb of God social media channels, the band have invited none other than Fit For An Autopsy vocalist Joe Badolato to come on stage with them. Fit For An Autopsy are one of the most iconic bands in deathcore, with Badolato being one of the heaviest vocalists around.

Fit For An Autopsy released a brand new record earlier this year titled, Oh What the Future Holds. You can check out the band’s single “In Shadows” below:

Joe is not only an amazing vocalist, but a really great human being. As part of our “Jingle Hells Challenge” for charity to raise money for Magic Wheelchair – a nonprofit organization that builds epic costumes for kids in wheelchairs – Joe contributed a deathcore cover of a classic Christmas jingle. You can view that video of his cover below:

Are you excited to check out the Fit For An Autopsy vocalist performing alongside Lamb of God?
