Korn and Evanescence have both posted the same video teaser – what does it mean?
This shared visual teaser appears on both band’s social media channels. The visualizer is created by Nate Hill Photography. There’s a lot one could assume from this shared teaser – could it be a song collaboration? Or, could it be a tour that features the two?
The nu metal legends are coming to the end of a current tour, but it isn’t out of the question for them to take a breather and then hit the road again in a couple months. This upcoming November into December, Evanescence will be hitting the road with rock act Halestorm.
If you aren’t aware, both Korn and Evanescence have actually collaborated in the past. On a past episode of MTV Unplugged, both Korn and Evanescence singer Amy Lee joined the stage to perform a cover of the Korn song “Freak on a Leash.” The performance offers a much slower take of the song, but also makes for an intriguing spin. As of this past February, Korn released their 14th studio album Requiem. When it comes to the band’s song “Freak on a Leash,” band frontman Jonathan Davis thinks it is a great song for newcomers of the band.
The most recent studio album from Evanescence is that of their 2021 record, The Bitter Truth.
