A band who have been playing public concerts from a bus had a recent show of theirs shut down by the police, so Exodus guitarist Gary Holt stepped in to do them an awesome solid.

A San Francisco band called Hemorage have been getting a lot of attention lately for playing gigs from inside a bus; the band roll up to other nearby concerts and offer shows to anyone who happens to be passing by. It is a pretty rad idea to say the least, which is why it is a shame that a recent show of theirs (that took place on April 12th) was shut down by the cops. That said, there is an up side to this incident, for while that show was shut down, the Exodus guitarist stepped in to help out the band in a couple awesome ways.

The night that Hemorage’s show got shut down, the band were ironically  playing near where Exodus, Death Angel, and Testament were playing. Among those who showed up to support the band was none other than the Exodus guitarist Gary Holt. Holt took some footage of the band’s performance and posted it on his Instagram account. Per the caption he wrote associated with the video, he shared the following:

“@hemoragesf are raging in the streets of San Diego!! Roll up in mini bus, start killing it right next to our bus, simply the coolest thing ever, security guard be damned!!”

But when the police ended up coming through and shutting the Hemorage show down, Holt went out of his way to buy some of their merch. Per another one of Holt’s Instagram posts, he wrote:

When @hemoragesf were shut down by the San Diego police yesterday! Lee and I did make it down to buy shirts! But the street concert came to an end right then and the there! This band rules! Buy their merch and support this band!”

So between a shout out from GARY HOLT of EXODUS and him buying some of their merch – that sounds like a pretty awesome evening for Hemorage (all things considered with their show getting shut down).

Leave it to Gary Holt to be so cool! You can find Holt’s posts below, as well as some additional posts from Hemorage that shows off their live shows that take place from their bus.
