Rock Band Bastardane, Featuring The Son Of Metallica Frontman James Hetfield, Is Heading Out For Tour

The son of Metallica frontman James Hetfield, Caster Hetfield, is in a rock band called Bastardane, and they are now heading out on tour!

Bastardane is a hard rock act based in Savannah, GA. The album, Is This Rage?, features the son of the Metallica frontman on drums. The 21-year-old Caster Hetfield is accompanied by vocalist/bassist Jake Dallas and guitarist Ethan Sirotzki. The band formed in 2019.

Earlier this week, Bastardane announced that they would be hitting the road as well! The band featuring the son of the Metallica frontman is only playing a few select dates, so if you’re lucky enough to be nearby, you won’t want to miss out on this incredible new act!

In other Metallica related news, a museum devoted to the life and legacy of the late Metallica bassist Cliff Burton will be opening next month in Sweden. The museum will include pictures, albums, posters and tickets, along with interviews and photos from the first photographer who arrived at the tragic crash site where Burton died. There will also be a film of recollections from first responders who were at the crash scene. Other exhibits include a stage that recreates Metallica’s last show with Burton in Stockholm, with copies of the bass and drum kit he and Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich used, respectively.
