Well it looks like enough folks enjoyed The Batman, because now we are getting a sequel!

During the latest CinemaCon event this past week, film director Matt Reeves confirmed that there would be a sequel to the movie – with him returning as director and with actor Robert Pattinson returning to take on the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne.

At the time of this writing, Matt Reeves has not confirmed whether or not Zoe Kravitz (who played Catwoman), Paul Dano (who played The Riddler), or Colin Farrell (who played The Penguin) will return for the next movie.

Have you seen The Batman yet? What are your thoughts on it and are you excited for another movie featuring the Dark Knight?

Maybe you think Batman was a somewhat solid film, but had issues with that of Robert Pattinson’s voice. A little too specific maybe, but that is how Kiss bassist Gene Simmons feels about the movie. Via a Twitter post of his he wrote after seeing The Batman:

“THE BATMAN, is a solid 2 hour movie. Unfortunately, it’s 3 hrs long. Cut out the fat in the middle and it works…Batman is an 8 out of 10, IF you dub Batman’s voice…need a thicker and lower register voice. After all, it’s Batman’s voice….not Robin, the Boy Wonder! What say you?”

Or if Batman is not your cup of tea, then there are some upcoming Marvel movies that are perfect for metalheads. In just a few days we’ll be getting the new Marvel Doctor Strange movie. If you want to check out a new clip from the movie, you can click on the link below.
