Last month, Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor said that fans could expect to hear some “old school” songs on their Knotfest North American tour (which kicked off yesterday). Well, as reported by Loudwire, during the band’s opening show, Slipknot played their songs “Snuff” and “Dead Memories.”
When it came to playing “Snuff,” Taylor addressed the crowd and said:
“My friends — no, my bad — my fucking family, we are about to play you a song that we have not played live in 13 years. And I can count, on this hand, the amount of times that we played it live.
“And we have brought it out simply for you. So if you know it, help me sing.”
The appearance of “Dead Memories” was its first since 2016. Both songs are part of the band’s 2008 studio album, All Hope Is Gone.
