Last night, Ghost made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and performed their single “Call Me Little Sunshine.” The song is from the band’s latest record, Impera, which was released as of last week.
“It’s the Devil, basically, speaking to the little person in front of his or her computer or in their little room, calling out for them, ‘I’m always here for you.’ In this context, it’s not a good thing.”
If you’re curious to know what else Forge had to say about other Impera tracks, you can read more here.

Jimmy Kimmel also recently just had Turnstile on his show. He’s also had Slipknot on in the past. We got to say Jimmy, you have some really good taste in music and we love to see you supporting metal!
In other Ghost related news, Forge recently made some comments about the nu metal genre, saying, “My taste is very old school. Ever since like ’94 when nü-metal started to really show its face, I’ve been allergic to anything that suggests nü-metal and unfortunately that has been like the everlasting genre from like ’94 to today.”
Having formed back in 2006, the Swedish rock band took the heavy music world by storm with their debut studio album, Opus Eponymous. In 2013, the band would release their second album, Infestissuman. Their third album, Meliora, would arrive in 2015. In 2018 Ghost released their fourth album, titled Prequelle. Impera marks the band’s fifth studio album.
The band recently just completed a 26-date arena tour with Volbeat and Twin Temple.
