Posted via his personal Instagram account, the Korn guitarist has provided an up close photo of the damage done to the Korn tour bus. Per the caption associated with Welch’s photo:
“A couple days ago in Iowa we received a bullet to one of our buses in the middle of the night, nobody on the bus thank God, and the bullet didn’t penetrate the interior of the bus 💪. Well, we’re back in Iowa and hoping for a better welcome tonight Des Moines?! How about bringing some Saturday night energy to a Monday night concert for your boys??!!”

As previously reported by TMZ, the Korn tour bus was hit while parked outside a hotel in Davenport, Iowa. A spokesperson from the Davenport Police Department say they got a call Friday morning for a vehicle that had been hit overnight. There is no explicit report as to how much gunfire took place during the situation, but the police say the bus was hit by a single bullet.
There are only a few more dates left in the running of this tour. The Korn tour began back on January 31st in Phoenix, Arizona, and it will conclude on April 1st in Wichita, Kansas. Considering the intensity of this situation, it appears that Korn, Code Orange, and Chevelle will continue forth and finish the tour. We wish all the bands and their respective crews safer travels.
