Watch: Unreal Slide Guitar Cover of Tool’s ‘Pneuma’

Tool’s ‘Pneuma’ has been on our brain’s a lot this past week. It’s obviously a scorcher of a track. But, it came back into our collective conscious again last week after we happened to notice the sheer viral magnitude of this Danny Carey POV drum play-through video. Clearly the song has an impact on people. Now, we’re going to share a very different (but equally stunning) twist on the already classic Tool song- a ‘Pneuma’ slide guitar cover. Yup, that’s right.

Dan Dubuque is an incredibly talented Weissenborn slide guitarist from Montana who has been posting absolutely beautiful slide guitar covers of rock songs to his YouTube channel for the past year or so.

Last week, Dan turned some heads in the hard rock world when he posted a truly gorgeous slide guitar interpretation of ‘Pneuma’ from Tool’s most recent opus, Fear Inoculum.
