Folks, the studio version of Bring Me The Horizon and Ed Sheeran’s “Bad Habits” is finally upon us! And guess what… it’s actually pretty cool.

As you may have heard, Bring Me The Horizon and Sheeran performed together at the 2022 Brit Awards February 8th, playing to Sheeran’s hit song “Bad Habits.” Well the performance went real well for the two, because it wasn’t long afterwards that they decided to work together and release an official studio version of the song.

Per The Daily Star, Sheeran said that he had been a fan of Bring Me The Horizon’s  for a long time and that playing with them was a “dream come true.”

Well, we wonder how Sheeran feels today, given that folks can now stream the studio version of Bring Me The Horizon and Sheeran’s “Bad Habits” now! The video for the song features animated versions of Sheeran and BMTH vocalist Oli Sykes standing in a dark void as bats flutter among them. You can check out the song and video below:

Honestly, this is catchy as hell! The added heaviness of the guitars and electronic components bring a great kick to the track. There is a powerful harmony flowing through the composition, Sheeran’s voice playing wonderfully off the instrumentation. And of course, while Sykes’ singing sounds just as great, there’s the added touch of his scream at the end to conclude the song.

It isn’t every day that you get two musical forces from such different worlds to come together and make something so compelling. Before the two ever performed together, it might have been tough to imagine such a collaboration taking place, or what it would even sound like. But folks, Bring Me The Horizon and Ed Sheeran did it.

What are your thoughts on this song? Would you be interested in hearing more? How do you feel with Sheeran pushing himself to create heavier music than what he’s done in the past?
