Posted via his personal Instagram account just recently, Rob Zombie has shared a photo of pop sensation Billie Eilish wearing a tee from his merch lineup. In the caption to the photo, Zombie wrote, “@billieeilish on stage rocking her Zombie GET HIGH shirt. #robzombie #billieeilish #gethigh”

This isn’t the first time Billie has worn clothing related to bands from the metal community – it also isn’t the first time that she has gotten a shout out from Rob Zombie. Back in 2019, Billie was spotted wearing the Rob Zombie “Get High” shirt, as well as a custom-made shirt featuring Zombie, Type-O Negative, and Cradle Of Filth! Talk about one hell of a combo!

We’d love to hear what Billie’s taste in metal is; what her favorite Rob Zombie and Cradle Of Filth records are. Hell, while we’re getting these Ed Sheeran collaborations, why not hear Billie collab with a band or make her own metal music!
It’s fantastic to see mainstream popstars embrace metal; when it comes to the personal lives of these artists, we don’t always know what their personal taste in art involves. For all we know, Billie Eilish may be a hardcore fan of death metal. It’s also cool to see Zombie provide a positive shout out. Just like when he took that photo with Babymetal, it seems Rob Zombie just likes to see people have fun and enjoy music.
Sometimes a popstar wearing metal merch can catch some bad heat, but we say let people wear what they want to wear! And who knows, maybe one day we’ll see a photo of Rob Zombie wearing some Billie Eilish merch.
