Insanely Talented Slipknot Fan Makes Her Client’s Hands Metal As Hell

Published on:

There are a lot of ways we can show our love for bands, but a Slipknot fan getting a manicure and getting each member painted onto their nails? This we gotta see.

Miya (thenailritual) is a Slipknot fan and nail technician with rad skills. In a video they uploaded to TikTok, the artist shows off some recent work they have done for their business The Nail Ritual, located in Oakland, California. The brutally awesome Slipknot cut “People=Shit” plays in the background as Miya shows off some illustrative highlights of their work. Towards the end of the video, Miya displays their Slipknot artistry.

@thenailritual I’m scared to tell tiktok the real prices 😅 #slipknot #nails #nailart #nailtech ♬ People = Shit – Slipknot

Each nail features a member of the band, including: Corey Taylor, Jim Root, Mick Thompson, Shawn “Clown” Crahan, Craig Jones, ex-member Chris Fehn, and that of late bandmates Joey Jordison and Paul Gray. Two nails are not featured in the video (so it’s possible that one could involve Sid Wilson).

Fans will always find interesting and unique ways to pay homage to the artists they love. Whether they are buying a band’s merch, getting a tattoo of their song lyrics, or even getting the members painted onto their nails, it’s cool to see folks champion their passion for music. Miya is a hell of an artist, and if you feel inclined to get some work done by them yourself, you can visit The Nail Ritual to learn more.

If you are a Slipknot fan, what ways have you displayed your love for the legendary nu metal band?

Corey Taylor recently shared that Slipknot are close to releasing their new record. The band will also be heading out for a massive North American tour in the near future (you can find all dates and locations for the tour below). No telling when we’ll be getting that All Hope Is Gone B-sides release, but damn are we excited to hear what that sounds like.
