While many musicians have taken to social media to share their feelings on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Decapitated and Machine Head guitarist Waclaw “Vogg” Kieltyka has made efforts to help on the ground.
Vogg, along with some other folks, has been assisting Ukrainian citizens who have been fleeing the country. He has helped to deliver necessary resources to those fleeing. Vogg also brought up how folks can donate to a PayPal account, where the collected funds will be used to buy medicine, hygiene products, and other necessary goods.
The caption to Vogg’s post is as follows:
“UPDATE:
We returned to Krakow this morning.
We managed to deliver all the gifts to the Ukrainian side !!
We were also allowed to cross the border several times to deliver the most necessary products collected on the Polish border and reload them on the Ukrainian side.
Help is needed, especially in Ukraine, because people are stuck in traffic jams.
Together with our friends, we want to go to the border again.
Many of you wrote to us with a support offer, so we’ve decided to create a PAYPAL account. We will use the collected funds to buy medicines, hygiene products, and the most necessary things.
I hope you will join us!
👉PAYPAL: krkteam2022@gmail.com”

Earlier today, Dee Snider of Twisted Sister clarified a statement he made on Twitter recently regarding his approval of the Ukrainian people using “We’re Not Gonna Take It” as a “battlecry.”
Vogg joined Machine Head in 2019. Machine Head are currently working on a new album; a friend of Machine Head frontman Rob Flynn’s is hyping up the record as “The Blackening 2.”
A couple weeks ago, Decapitated announced an upcoming UK tour, which will kick off next month.
