If there’s one thing we know for certain, it’s that The Pit’s loyal readers are really excited for Rob Zombie’s forthcoming ‘The Munsters’ movie. Every single damn time we post about it, y’all light up our social media account and this ‘ol website.
Since last summer, Rob has been slowly lifting the curtain on the movie and giving us sneak peaks at everything from the insane Munsters neighborhood set he’s building on location in Budapest to the new logo, to full make-up shots of Herman, Lily and Grandpa Munster.
While a release date is not yet known for the reboot this classic horror-comedy series, you can sleep soundly knowing that we’ll be sure to post about it here as soon as it drops.
In the meantime, the spooky folks over at Bloody Disgusting have pointed out that Rob Zombie is at it again and just posted another behind-the-scenes look over on his Instagram page.
This time, he’s revealing a first look at “Zoya Krupp the gypsy queen,” played by actress Catherine Schell (“Space: 1999, “The Return of the Pink Panther”, etc.). Apparently, Rob Zombie coaxed her out of retirement for the role as she initially closed the curtain on acting in the 90’s. Clearly, Rob was able to get her excited enough to lift the acting curtain again.
