With the world somehow slowly moving into 2022, it looks like metal tours are finally — if slowly — coming back to life. And while some tours have been fun, and big, and interesting, it’s those sweaty free-for-alls that metal fans are most looking forward to embracing once more. Thankfully, a band who does ‘sweaty free-for-all’ better than most has revealed that they’re about to embark on a U.S. tour: death metal legends Cannibal Corpse!
Cannibal Corpse will hit the road in February of 2022 in support of this year’s incredible Violence Unimagined. Joining them for the trek will be deathcore survivors Whitechapel, death metal stalwarts Revocation, and video game-loving brutalitarians Shadow of Intent. The tour kicks off in Atlanta and cuts a big ‘C’ through the east coast, out west, and back again, with Florida providing the last stop. Tickets go on sale this Friday, October 15th, at 10am local time.
“We’re very excited to announce our first tour for Violence Unimagined as part of this amazing lineup with Whitechapel and Revocation,” says Cannibal Corpse bassist Alex Webster. “We can’t wait to get back on the road and be on stage again. See you all soon!”
