Due to the massive breakthrough success of 2013’s The Satanist, it’s easy to think of Polish death metallers Behemoth as a ‘new’ band. But the devil-worshipping trio have been slugging it out for thirty years now, releasing several important albums before they were opening for Slayer. Now, the band are celebrating their long and storied career with a trio of livestreams this Halloween, at three unique locations.
Behemoth’s livestream event, titled ‘XXX Years Ov Blasphemy,’ will go down on Sunday, October 31st. The event involves three livestreamed performances from three uncommon locations, each with the theme of sacrilege at their core.
“Celebrating 3 DECADES of blasphemy the only way we know how: 3 spine-chilling live sets in 3 unique locations,” reads the event’s copy. “The Scorched Forest, The Path of Via Dolorosa & The Desecrated Temple. New life breathed into ancient songs spanning ‘…From The Pagan Vastlands’ to ‘I Loved You At Your Darkest’, we take you all the way to back to the spark that set about the blaze. Journey with us through the years!”
You can check out a trailer for the event below:
Behemoth’s Halloween livestreams have tickets and merch available online.
