Watch: UFC Star Nick Diaz Uses Deftones As Entrance Music for First Fight In Six Years

This weekend, UFC star Nick Diaz returned to the ring for the first time since 2015 to duke it out with Robbie Lawler. And those rock and metal fans watching the match might have recognized his entrance music.

Nick walked out to “Ceremony” by Deftones, a track from the band’s 2020 album Ohms. As you’ll see in the video below, the song is difficult to hear over the sheer insanity of the crowd, but is still audible enough that plenty of metalheads surely turned to their friends, pointed to their ears, and made a goofy-ass face.

Unfortunately, not even the power of Chino Moreno could help Diaz, who lost to Lawler in the third round due to technical knockout. That said, good on him for his terrific taste in music.
