Behemoth Postpone European Tour with Arch Enemy and Carcass Due to COVID Concerns

Back in November, Polish satanic death metallers Behemoth announced a massive European tour alongside Arch Enemy, Carcass and Unto Others. Unfortunately, the bands have now postponed the tour due to mounting concerns surrounding a COVID-19 resurgence and the Delta variant.

“Nobody’s more disappointed than us about this, that’s for damn sure,” says Arch Enemy’s Michael Amott. “But it is what it is, and we’re already looking forward to getting back to it in 2022! Stay healthy, stay metal!”

“As Michael says, it is what it is — we go again for 2022!” says Behemoth frontman Adam “Nergal” Darski. “Behemoth are coming with new music and new stage shenanigans…a spectacle worth waiting for. We’ll see you there!”

While this sucks, it’s understandable — COVID concerns continue to grow even among populations that are heavily vaccinated. More than anything, it’s a bummer to Unto Others, who have their Roadrunner debut on the way and would’ve probably gone over really well with European heavy metal audiences.

Here are the 2022 dates announced as of today. All tickets for the 2021 tour remain valid in the cities in which the shows were supposed to take place.
